This is the middle of week 5 of the 2020 build season.
The build season has gone by very fast, and we are already in week 5. The entire team is working hard to get things done as fast as possible.
CAD is working on finishing their designs so that build can make the final robot. Programming is still learning about programming so that they can program the robot quickly when it is done. Build is moving from prototyping to the frame, which will need to be welded by the team. Media is ahead of schedule and are excited for the t-shirts that are coming in next week.
We asked some of the students on the team, "How do you feel the robot is coming along with only a week and a half left of build season?"
"I feel like we can get it done in time if we just work towards or goal and and do one thing every day. Hopefully we can finish ASAP so we can have plenty of time to practice driving."
"It's getting there. We have finished prototyping and have started on the actual robot which is very good. CAD is almost done with their designs and welding will be starting right after CAD is done. Besides that, our team shirts will be here next week and I am very excited."
"I feel like we can get it done if we work hard enough. We are currently working on the lift and the frame and we are finalizing the CAD so we can start working on the final product."
"I think we can make it if we put in the work. I think we just need to focus on getting the robot done because media is ahead and so build is our focus."
